Mónica Iglesia, is today one of the dancers on the rise of the current flamenco dance and ladanza scene.
She was born in Marid, where she was a graduate in Spanish Dance and Flamenco by the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance Mariemma, highlighting in her training great masters of flamenco.
She began her professional career with Rafaél Estévez and Nani Paños, and after extensive experience in the most outstanding national companies such as the Flamenco Ballet of Andalusia, the Antonio Gades Foundation or the National Ballet of Spain and having been awarded in numerous choreographic competitions, Iglesias began her solo career after winning the Desplante Prize for Flamenco Dance 2018 of the International Festival of Cante de Las Minas.

In 2019 he premiered his rimer solo work %22BRAVATA%22, with great acceptance of critics and public, entering the tour of the Network of Theaters of the Community of Madrid during the 2019/20/21 seasons
Her personality and great versatility make her invited by numerous artists to collaborate in various projects such as filmmaker Carlos Saura in %22Flamenco Hoy%22, flamenco pianist David Dorantes in %22Interacción%22, and the Rubén Olmo, Rafael Estévez and Valeriano Paños National Dance Awards. More recently Antonio Ruz and the viola player Fahami Alqhai counted on their flamenco dance for the project %22Gugurumbé%22 with Rocío Marquez and Nuria Rial.

His second work %22TÁLAMO%22, arrives in 2021 premiered at the XV Flamenco Festival of Jeréz, generating great interest in international festivals such as the Flamenco Festival of Touluse, or Teatro Isabel la Católica of Granada.
Tour the most outstanding flamenco festivals and artistic programs such as the Czech Republic Festival, %22Ellas Crean%22 Festival in Madrid, Albuquerque New Mexico Flamenco Festival; In addition to being a guest artist in the most outstanding tablaos of today such as the Tablao Los Gallos in Seville, Corral de la Morería in Madrid, or Tablao Cordobés in Barcelona.

Mónica Iglesias is also a graduate in Foreign Language Teaching from the Complutense University of Madrid. He obtains the Master of Performing Arts from the University of Alicia Alonso. She participates in projects combining her dance with different disciplines. Collaborates with the fashion designer Juan Duyos for madrid fashion week, or in different inclusive education programs, in addition to his active work with the different
Dance Conservatories.
