He has drunk from the purest sources of flamenco since his early years. His father, Antonio Gómez “El Colorao” has instilled all his art at the same time as the fundamental foundations of singing. At the age of 6, he made his first performance accompanied by his brother on guitar. From this moment he began to sing with his father in numerous flamenco rocks.

At the age of 10, the Oyana group formed, along with other future flamenco figures. With this group Sergio begins to form his own style of flamenco that in the future will help him to innovate in some forgotten cantes. In 2007, he participated in the Union competition, and managed to obtain the prizes of solea and Vidalita, just as in 2008 he won the prize for farruca. In recent years he has acquired great wisdom in the flamenco field and the recognition of Spanish critics. His eagerness to do new things has opened doors for him between flamingos and non-Flemishs and his knowledge of classical cantes is growing.
