Jardines de Zoraya is in the heart of Albayzin neighbourhood in Granada. It is a restaurant with a flamenco tablao just two minutes away from the famous viewpoint: San Nicolás.
Our restaurant offers live flamenco shows performed every night at 8 p.m and at 10:30 p.m and at the weekend we also offer afternoon show at 3 p.m. The flamenco show lasts 1 hour and consists of a guitar player, a percussionist, a singer and two dancers.

We are proud to present the sensational Granadian dancer, Ana Cali, whose career as a proffessional flamenco dancer began when she was only 7 years old. Collaborating with various musicians, Ana Calí is here to share her legendary talent every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Different options to attend the flamenco show:

- Dinner "á la carte" (minimum spend applies)
- Set menu: flamenco menu (optional from Sunday to Thursday and obligatory if having dinner on Friday and Saturday night)
- Group menu (Min. 8 people. Booked 48h in advanced)

We also have a large outside terrace that is able to hold 150 people. Climatised in summer with a cooling system and heated in winter, our terrace has a perfet atmosphere all year round. It is an ideal place to organise all kinds of events such as barbeques, huge paellas, weddings, banquets and business lunches or dinners...We can cater for any budget.

Our kitchen is specialises in different kinds of grilled meat,  stewed oxtail, iberian pork fillet,  Spanish cured meats, and seafood dishes such as skewers of monkfish with lobster and almond sauce. Jardines de Zoraya is both a restaurant and a "tablao flamenco". Both areas are equally valued and cared for to offer you the best quality. Having dinner here is an enriching experience. It is almost impossible to describe the sensation of the rythmic vibration of a "taconeo" (heel stamping), you will feel the grace and power of the dancer, intrinsic to the intense art of flamenco.

The show takes place in our comfortable and spacious dining room, where we also accommodate our resident palm tree whose roots cling firmly to the restaurant floor and whose palms grow determinedly through the roof. At present, w exibit the colourful art of French artist Freddy Martin, which is also available to buy.

Jardines de Zoraya´s chef has prepared a flamenco menu to perfectly compliment the occasion. You can also explore the rest of our specialties in the menu or even enjoy the show  just tasting a local wine. All this in the heart of Granada, the moorish old town, Albaycín, just two minutes away from San Nicolas viewpoint with its stunning views of the Alhambra.

Enjoying the Albaycin neighbourhood with its unique atmosphere whilst dining and watching a flamenco show is a must do experience in Granada

flamenco, ART, PURITY AND FEELING

flamenco, formed by a mixture of diverse cultures that have their mark in the south of Iberian peninsula, is the most representative image of Andalusien folklore and is an intrinsic part of Granadien life.

The guitar, the singing and the palms have been heard throughout the land for centuries. In the past, the people used to dance to the rhythm of the guitar and the palms anywhere they could join together; in houses, taverns and streets. Originally, flamenco was the shout of the poor, the peasant and the gypsy, expressing the deepest pain with singing known as ¨cante jondo. In the beginning, it was only the singing and the rhythm of a hammer against an anvil.

Today, flamenco can be admired in ¨cuadro flamenco¨ which represents the typical gypsy fiestas. A cuadro flamenco is a group of people composed of a guitar player, a ¨palmero, a percussionist and a dancer. Here you can experience all aspects of flamenco; rhythm, music, dance and song. During a performance, you can experience all of the different flamenco rhythms such as soleá, tango, alegria, granaína, tanguillo, seguiriya, and of course, bulería; the indispensible rhythm in every gypsy fiesta.

Nights like the ones we offer in Jardines de Zoraya are a great opportunity to experience the purity and the magic of live flamenco. From the ¨soleᨠto the ¨alegria¨, from Granada to the heart of the Albaycin...
